The educational program provides comprehensive training for highly qualified specialists in foreign philology with a focus on English and a second foreign language. The curriculum is built around three core areas of study: foreign language proficiency, literature, and translation.
The well-balanced curriculum combines theoretical and practical courses with compulsory and elective components, ensuring an effective integration of classroom instruction and independent learning. This approach enables students to develop advanced linguistic, literary, translation, and intercultural communication competencies while preparing them for successful careers in teaching, translation and interpreting, international communication, research, and other language-related professions.
We offer a well-balanced curriculum that seamlessly integrates theoretical, practical, and research-oriented learning. Through an individualized educational pathway, each student has the opportunity to tailor their academic experience by selecting elective courses that align with their personal interests, career aspirations, or research goals.
Students actively participate in academic conferences, seminars, and round-table discussions featuring leading scholars and professionals from Ukraine and around the world. Throughout the program, they develop advanced skills in foreign-language and intercultural communication, master computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, and gain practical experience in simultaneous interpreting.
The program provides graduates with a broad range of career opportunities, including positions as teachers and university lecturers, interpreters and translators (both written and oral), editors in print and digital media, executive assistants, PR consultants, content managers, and other language and communication professionals.
Graduates are also well prepared to continue their academic careers by enrolling in a doctoral (PhD) program. They may pursue advanced research in one of three specialization areas: Germanic Languages, Translation Studies, or World Literature.
Previous educational qualification required: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.
