The program combines theoretical education, professional training, and research in the fields of philology and translation. Students can select courses in accordance with their career goals, study Eastern and Germanic philology, and develop an individualized learning pathway through a personalized study plan.
The program also provides opportunities for academic mobility, including Erasmus+ programs and partnerships with universities in China. Graduates may continue their academic careers through doctoral (PhD) studies and pursue the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
The program is focused on contemporary communication trends in philology and translation practice. It combines theoretical, practical and professional, and research-oriented training, providing students with both a strong academic foundation and hands-on professional experience.
Each student has the opportunity to create an individual selection of theoretical courses based on their personal interests, career prospects, or research goals. Students explore current trends in Eastern and Germanic philology, gain insight into the history and cultural mentality of the Chinese people, study the modernization of the Chinese language, and learn to apply their knowledge in practical contexts.
The program provides graduates with a wide range of professional opportunities. They can work as IT specialists with Chinese and English language skills, tour guides, managers in specialized business areas such as construction projects, export and import departments, and branches of Chinese companies. Graduates are also qualified for careers as oral and written translators and interpreters, editors of print and digital media, executive assistants, PR specialists, and professionals working in humanitarian foundations, associations, cultural organizations, arts institutions, and cultural centers.
