The School of Biology includes 8 departments covering biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, botany, zoology, and physiology. The School also operates a Biological Station and the CWU Herbarium, providing extensive opportunities for practical training and research.
The School offers Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programmes in Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, and Bioengineering. Students participate in research projects, international cooperation programmes, field practice, and scientific conferences.
Graduates build careers in biological, medical, pharmaceutical, environmental, agricultural, and food industries, as well as research institutions and educational organizations. Many continue their studies in doctoral programmes in Ukraine and abroad.
