Training program

The educational program “Innovative Food Technologies” within specialty G13 “Food Technologies” is designed to prepare Master’s-level professionals capable of developing and implementing innovative food technologies, creating next-generation food products, managing production quality and safety, conducting scientific research, implementing innovation projects, and making strategic decisions in the modern food industry.

The program provides students with advanced knowledge and practical skills to address complex technological, managerial, and research challenges in food production.

The program focuses on preparing leaders of innovation in the food industry who can develop and implement new technologies, create functional and specialized food products, carry out technological engineering of production facilities, manage product quality and safety in accordance with international standards, and enhance the competitiveness of food enterprises in national and global markets.

A distinctive feature of the program is the development of competencies required for scientific research, the development and commercialization of innovative products and technologies, production team management, and implementation of development projects in the food industry and HoReCa sector. Particular attention is paid to international experience, professional communication in a foreign language, and the implementation of leading global practices in food technology.

Practical training and internships are conducted at leading food industry enterprises, catering establishments, research institutions, and production companies in Ukraine and abroad. This provides students with valuable professional experience and strengthens their competitiveness in the international labor market.

Graduates of the program can pursue careers as production unit managers, production managers, chief technologists, innovation development specialists, and food quality and safety experts. They may also work as consultants for food industry enterprises, lecturers at professional pre-higher and higher education institutions, or continue their studies at the third (educational and research) level of higher education to pursue a PhD degree.

The program combines the latest advances in food science with practical food production and provides training in food technology engineering, food biotechnology, quality management, strategic management, digital technologies, data analysis, intellectual property protection, and research methodology.

Specialty G13 “Food Technologies” is included among the specialties receiving special state support. Graduates are in demand in food manufacturing, the restaurant and hospitality sector, quality control, food consulting, and scientific research, both in Ukraine and internationally.

Previous educational qualification required: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.

Entrance examinations for international applicants:

  1. Language of instruction examination (Ukrainian or English language);
  2. Professional entrance examination in the chosen field of study.
