The Bachelor’s-level educational program “Electric Power Plants, Networks and Systems” is aimed at providing a comprehensive energy engineering education and preparing specialists for the modern energy sector who can contribute to the reliable operation of critical energy infrastructure.
The program provides in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the design, construction, and operation of equipment and systems for the generation, distribution, transmission, conversion, storage, and consumption of electrical energy.
The curriculum reflects the latest trends in the development of the energy sector and modern energy supply technologies. Particular attention is paid to the management and protection of complex energy systems and facilities, including renewable energy systems and distributed generation.
Training specialists under this program has been provided by the department since 1958, combining long-standing educational traditions with current technological developments in the energy industry.

The operation of complex electrical networks and power systems;

The design and operation of relay protection and emergency control systems;
Installation, operation, service life extension, and disposal of electrical equipment;
Economic aspects of critical energy infrastructure;
Occupational health and safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection;
Practical application of acquired knowledge and skills through various types of internships and practical training.
